George Kim, owner of Kim's Wood Specialties, is a master restorer and refinisher. He has been working with wood since he was a boy. Over time, his skills focused on refinishing and restoring antiques and other fine furniture. He has a gift for restoring what others

The Company
Kim's Wood Specialties (KWS) has been refinishing and restoring antiques and other fine furniture for over 20 years. In 1998 the shop was relocated to Gainesville, Georgia.
In response to a common request from customers looking for quality furniture, KWS expanded their services to include an unfinished furniture store in 2002. In early 2005 KWS began closing out the unfinished furniture in order to keep up with the demand for refinishing.
