Dust frequently with a clean, lint free, cotton cloth.

Clean up spills immediately, blotting with a cloth rather than wiping off.

Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight. Sun can cause the finish and wood's natural patina to fade and crack.

Keep furniture away from radiators, registers and air conditioners.

Avoid extreme changes in humidity. This can cause warping and cracking of the finish.

Do not place plastic or rubber objects on the surface. These can soften the finish.

Protect the surface using trivets or non-rubber based pads.
